Navigating Hormuz: Iranian Official Highlights Need for Coordination with Guards and Asset Unfreezing

Every commercial ship, even those from the US, can pass through the Strait of Hormuz. However, they must coordinate their plans with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards. A senior Iranian official shared this with Reuters and mentioned that unfreezing Iran’s funds was included in the Hormuz agreement.
The official also noted that ships could only use lanes that Iran considers safe. On a different note, military ships still can’t cross the strait.
